Great fall day for flying, clear skies and calm surface winds. Drove down to Southington to fly Carlos and Angel from the Western Little League fields. Santo was in the parking lot, we were closer to the street on the grass. Slow drift south down low, picked up a little and turned SSW up higher. Santo was well ahead of us but we both tracked down I-84. There were three other balloons up, one east of us near the ridge and two further north. Approaching I-691, Santo looked to make a slow approach east to a landing. When I came down it was still mainly south and the final approach was SW into a parking lot adjacent to the rail trail. Less that a half mile from the restaurant where Angel works, I could almost deliver him to work! Timelapse Video:
