This was the second year with our own balloon at the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Bob Martel and I were sponsored again by The Northeast Hot Air RV'ers.

Quick descriptions until we return from the Albuquerque Fiesta....

Friday afternoon was breezy but forecast to drop so we setup in the RV area which provided lots of available crew for a breezy inflation. Took Tonia and Debbie up, this time Tonia got further than the far side of the airport. Picked a small field beside Dean Rd.

Saturday morning was calm but winds aloft were still moving. Took Jeff and Carlos this morning. Started low but eventually climbed high to turn E toward the open fields. Dropped down before the Hudson River and its fog. That turned us NNE and we landed in a large yard along 149 in Ft Ann.

Saturday evening was a repeat of Friday evening. The inflation in the RV area was breezy but we had help again. Took Brian and Kelly, the drawing winners, up for a flight ENE. We started low initially but again climbed to get the shift E. Before reaching the Hudson River we dropped and turned NNE, dropping between two yards with easy access to the road.

Sunday morning was calm again. Launched from the S end of the runway, at the bottom of the hill from the RV area. Took Dillon and Dave this morning. We again headed NE but not as fast. Stopped for a while over the industrial area outside the airport before we started moving NE again. To the right of Friday's field we continued NE to catch up with Bob. He set down way out in a field but had lots of help to pull it closer to the chase vehicle. We worked our way out to an open yard where the Saga Japan balloon team eventually landed.
