So far this year, weekend weather has been rain and wind but Memorial Day gave us a Monday with good weather. Other balloonists were going for an afternoon flight but I liked the morning forecast better. We mainly flew SSE, varying about 30 degrees. This took us between most landing sites in Stow and Maynard. As we approached the E end of Crows Island, the river causes a E shift of our track and we missed the island. After a long stretch of trees on the Devens Annex we got close to the edge of the Fire Academy in Sudbury. Slipping low over the tree tops we caught just enough E to drop in the SW parking lot at the Academy. Timelapse Video:
