The weather is strange it good ways now. Forecast is not too cold, light winds for the surface, RUC, and winds aloft, and partly cloudy. Bob(Lori) and Steve are also out this morning, I lifted off first and drifted slowly NE across the pond. Lori and Steve quickly followed. At the pond off Flagg Hill Rd, Steve passed me. We slowly drifted past a couple islands in the pond, noting the beaver work on the tree trunks. Steve landed just past Summer St. I skimmed the E side of the ice rink and Lori was on the W side. North of 111 I was over the marsh and Lori was over the neighborhood and landed. I went higher to pick up speed and see what was ahead. Tried for Idylwilde but held right turning altitude too long and didn't slow down enough for the narrow parking lots. The next neighborhood is tall old growth trees and above ground utilities. Continued across RT2 and navigated to a VERY new Genevieve Ln cul-de-sac. Scott was navigator using a map app with course projection to keep me on track since we lost visual down low!
