Friday evening brought many thunderstorm waves passing by and eventually passing over the field. We left early before the lightning. Saturday morning was foggy and the evening was breezy heading SE into the forest. But the winds died down for the Balloon Glow. Sunday morning looks great with a light ENE drift over the pond, turning S up higher. Bob, I, Rudi, and Keith inflated on the field. Over the tree tops we headed ENE across the pond and W down at water level. I did two unintentional splashes while trying to stay just above the water. The four of us made several loops over the pond. ReMax and a couple other balloons went N off field to fly back in. I watched ReMax cross to the W of the field, drop lower and curve E into the field. From the N end of the pond I decided to follow his lead, climbed high, moved to the W of the field and dropped down to curve in, setting down about 20 feet from the launch site.
