Friday evening brought many pop-up thunderstorm cells all around us. They started dropping off later, but only 3 balloons decided to go off-site to fly (even the direction from the field was not great).

Saturday morning was clear and calm so everyone was setting up. We all headed south-west along RT28, passing over many open fields as long as you stay close to 28. Many open spaces around Webster Mills Rd so several balloons set down there but I continued on, following Rudi. Crossed 28 at Swiggey Brook Rd and stayed low to remain close to 28. Followed Rudi into a yard off Swiggey Brook Rd. Rudi moved out to the front and we took the back. Carol had a great time talking to the homeowner Sylvia.

Saturday afternoon brought storms again. The radar didn't show as intense, but they were bigger. We had a short heavy downpour come through and it joined with others to form a long line east of us. No one was inclined to play with the weather for a flight, but it continued to breakup so conditions were clear for the night glow.

Sunday morning looked good with a slow pibal heading NE across the pond. We noticed the first balloons were moving a bit faster than expected. I got off and managed a low pass over the pond. Climbing over the trees I noted that most everyone landed in the open cemetery field and I was lined up on an open area so we made a short flight.
