Clear weather, calm surface and winds aloft, faster mid-band. Seems to be the rule now rather than the exception. Bob was the other balloon flying today, and the pibal showed increasing speed and right turn as you climb. Bob got off just ahead of us and we flew above the driveway left treeline until we could drop into the grass runway. Slowed and turned NE in line with the runway. Climbed up to follow Bob and could see we were headed toward the Sudbury tower, and Collings Foundation. Dropped into low areas when we could to find slow winds, had to pop up high to turn right (west) to get back in line with Collings. Dropped low on the west side of the Assabet River and turned left to head across into the Collings Foundation. We landed short of the house and buildings, then walked up to the parking lot at the tank museum. Timelapse Video:
