Hot Air Balloon Flight Record - 20Nov2021

The forecast is not zero wind like last weekend, but it is light and there is not torrential rain! Rudi is also coming out and Rhonda has enough crew to take care of both balloons.

Carl was already at the airport with Rudi when we arrived. Started setting up and inflated with Rudi. Tom is flying this morning and let us off first since we were down wind. Headed E along the south edge of the pond and dropped low across the road to allow Tom to catch up.

Tree top level across Flagg Hill and down into the marsh across W. Acton Rd. That slowed us to almost zero and turned N till we came to the tree line and climbed to turn E again after Tom. Mostly forest crossing S of S. Acton train station, eventually crossing over High Street.

Thought Tom was looking for a landing site around Parker St but he continued on toward 62, and we followed. Spotted a lot of build up along Knox Trail, just before the large solar array. Watched Tom spiral in to the materials yard and we followed suit, landing right beside them and walking to the parking lot to deflate.
