Hot Air Balloon Flight Record - 30Jun2018

It was a hot, humid, and hazy morning, but calm. Six balloons showed up, Adam, Bob, Rudi, Chris, Bruce, and Brian. Adam and Bob (actually Lori on her last flight as a student) took off first, we followed closely. Rudi, Chris, and Bruce were later.

Not far up (200ft) we were moving 7mph ESE, a little higher it shifted further south. Adam was left (N) of our track, Lori was right (S) heading toward the Maynard Mill, and we were following in the middle. Adam slowed down low, Lori went past the Mill to land in a cemetery on RT 117. We went beyond, crossing RT 117. The neighborhoods have above ground utilities so only a few yards would have been large enough.

Eventually passing over a pond we saw the Greenwood Swim Club with a parking lot in the distance. Climbed a little to shift right and line up on the parking lot. The driveway was not well marked so it took the crew some effort (and Rose walking out the driveway) to find us.
