Another event fighting a tough weather forecast. The registration Friday evening had light showers but the morning forecast was better. At 4:30am we go a text to go back to bed, the field was closed due to showers, fog, and low overcast.

The afternoon was clear but breezy. The winds were forecast to drop, the question was how early? Pi-bals got better and Worcester reports were dropping so five balloons went. We headed east, crossing the Intel plant and continuing well south of Main St. As we got close to Hosmer St we started to turn left toward Main St. It wasn't clear how long it would take to get there and sundown was approaching so when we crossed the last tree line before Shay Rd we were lined up on an open driveway with home owner outside.

Set up a nice approach down to the driveway, with owner permission, and set down. Provided the actual street address so the crew could program the GPS to find us.

Sunday morning looked nice, but flags on high points were already moving, winds were forecast to come up early, and the pi-bals headed out before climbing very high. Everyone chose to stay on the ground and a few of us set up for static display.
