We are the only balloon out for Sunday. Inflated and launched just after 7am. Forecast is for light winds all day and we moved very slowly SE. Dropped over the wetlands after crossing West Acton Rd. Kept playing low over the forest, moving slowly SE toward Maynard. After crossing South Acton Rd we started looking seriously around Red Acre Rd. Turned more E approaching Red Acre and climbed to back up for another pass. This time we ended up on the S edge of the large yard and climbed to try again. Good direction to large yard but we stopped just short of the yard and couldn't get within drop line distance. Climbed and to to the front of the house but then couldn't find the drift to the back. Ended up crossing Red Acre and dropped the line into the side yard. Crew directed us into the back for deflation. |
