Friday we arrived in time for Dinner and Margaritas.

Saturday AM was clear and calm. Pibal shows slow out of the N, turning out of the NW up higher. Layout is tricky because the center of the field is a no-drive area on the soccer field. Everyone lines up around the outside and lays out toward the center. Exact wrong direction for balloon envelopes to meet, but the new fan helps force an opening. Took off over David as he was heating up and headed south. Remained west of Queen St and got to play over the river. Not big enough to set down in but we did get reflection pictures. Across 84 and continued SSE to cross RT10 into the neighborhoods. Started to work toward several other balloons in an underground utility cul-de-sac but veered right (W) and missed. The next neighborhood over had above ground utilities, and it took 3 spirals to get into a large combined backyard.

Saturday PM it was a bit late, just over an hour of sun left, when the winds finally dropped but they were still going to the NE in the direction of Hartford. Some balloons flew but most stayed on the ground or tethered.

Sunday AM was another clear, light and variable morning. We moved down field some this morning and balloons were laid out head to head. As long as we were offset, the crown lines went between the opposite row. Very slow climb out left us over the end of the field for a bit. Finally headed across the ball diamond.... very slowly. No one went far, even up high which headed E. We spent out time south of the park, crossing to the E side of S Washington St for a while before finally working back to the W side and a commercial building parking lot. About 3100 ft from launch site to landing site.
