Brian and crew (family) drove up from the Hartford CT area for an instruction flight. The AM and PM attempts in CT yesterday were canceled due to weather. This morning in Stow MA is beautiful. Well, could be less clouds but the winds are light. Rudi, Mark, and David also showed up. Took our time during inflation to go over some operational recommendations. We were last to launch and headed NNE. After Stow Rd we flew just over or between tree tops to practice short burns with short intervals. Past Burroughs Rd we got over the marsh area and low level just wandered for a while. Finally continued across the marsh, over RT111 and followed the back side of the tree line down to curve right into the Library access road. Mark's crew walked over and put on weight as our crew got out of the vehicle. |
