The weekend forecast looked good for both days. Rudi and Bob planned to come out both days, and Adam was considering it depending on crew. I had crew available for Saturday only.

Based on the wind forecast Friday night, Rudi and Bob cancelled their flights but Rudi came out to see what we were doing. The actual conditions were better than forecast so we inflated and launched. The initial track took us SW over the fence and past airplane parking before we climbed to turn ESE, dropping into the grass strip before continuing on. Wind speed increased quickly when we climbed so we dropped after crossing road to W Acton.

Approaching 117/62 we appeared to have a good track on the shopping center parking, but the descent built too fast on approach and I missed when I recovered. As we were crossing Red Acre Rd, the Vet's back yard was visible on our track. Low approach and a soft bounce off a tree put us in the back. Walked out to the parking lot to deflate. Too early in the morning for anyone to show up before we left.

Rudy and Bob flew the next day and ended up a bit further in the DEC Mill.
