The forecast for today is light winds, but overcast. The question is how much overcast. Rudi said he was coming out regardless and would tether students if it wasn't flyable. We again showed up at 5AM and no one else was there. Tom and Beth, then Rudi showed up. Finally Adam showed up with Peacock.

While Littleton was heavier overcast, Stow was higher with signs of blue poking through. We moved slower to watch for developments and were ready to fly about 45 minutes later than yesterday. The Sun was well up and conditions continued to improve so we took off. This flight was really ground contour, all the way across the airport, popping up over the tree line into the grass strip, then just above the tree tops continuing S. Dropped down into the larger openings in the trees and continued this way all the way through the Marble Hill Conservation Area until we got over the hills and approached 117.

Once we could see the Bose facility, I had an area to maneuver toward. Climbed a bit to turn further W and zig-zag toward the entrance for Bose. Given the slow speed I decided the condos/townhouses at the entrance were a great target, with large open grass areas. Made a nice gentle landing in the middle and walked to road to deflate.
