Friday afternoon showers didn't look promising, but the weather cleared for a gentle flight in the evening. We headed east across the golf course, veering south to play in the river before continuing east for the Polo field. On our final approach to the Polo field parking lot, we turned north and ended up with Ken in someone's driveway.

Saturday morning was a good wind and weather forecast, but fog was the concern. It was hazy but didn't thicken enough to cancel the flights. We did slow the setup a little just to give the fog a bit more time. Our initial track took us east across the driving range, dropped down to bring us back west and right over the chase crew before heading east again. When we climbed above the low haze layer, we could see down through it but looking out at an angle the sun reflected on the haze making it look like solid clouds. Didn't go as far east as Friday before we found a nice yard with a driveway to land in.

Saturday evening the winds were the concern. The surface wind was dropping off, but the direction was more north than we are used to. The stronger winds aloft were necessary to clear 10 miles of trees and get to open fields around Johnson. Rick Jones took off first and called back a report that above 4000 the wind shifted right and would keep us closer to RT 100 and access. We took off and climbed to 6500 to get the quicker winds and right shift. At Morrisville we started descending to search for a good site north of RT 15. Set down behind a house along RT 100 and walked up close to the driveway before deflating.
