Our 3 day weekend, and we finally got a good day to fly. Saturday and Sunday were breezy. The Monday forecast kept changing from calm to less calm, and finally ended with 9kts and 3000, and calm surface at most reporting points.

Saturday afternoon, hurricane Frances hit Florida.

We lost about 2/3 of our grassy launch field, and 4 balloons showed up today. We launched from the grass, Bob and Rudy launched from the parking lot, and Jim went out to the grass runway.

We were first off and stayed low and slow as we headed south out over the trees until everyone else got off. Climbed and turned a bit more than 90 degrees west then dropped to head south again. Eventually approached Hudson so we climbed to move west again and lined up with a new cul-de-sac.
